Elektroflex was founded in 1982. The main profile of the company is producing
potentiostats for electrochemical laboratories in Hungary and in several countries in Europe.
The continuous development resulted in the first computer-controlled potentiostat, model EF450
in 1985. This model won first prize on the HUNGAROKORR '85 exhibition. The next step was model
EF451, that contained several new improvements. Model EF453 was released in 1999. In 2001 a small change
resulted in model EF453AS.
The company produces bipotentiostat, multi-channel external A/D converters and several other
electronic devices as well.
Macasoft started to develop software for Elektroflex potentiostats in 1994. The company's
chief programmer has Ph.D. from electrochemistry which has proven to be a big advantage during the development of the
software. The programs have some very unique features that cannot be found in other potentiostat softwares and
proved to be very useful during the practical work.
The software can be modified for the user's individual needs. In 90% percent of our sales the
customer has some extra requests. Very often the software not only communicates with the potentiostat, but
communicates with other instruments (frequency counters, UV-VIS spectrophotometers, other computer) via GPIB, HPIB or
any other non-usual interface. This way our softwares may control very complicated experiments, if necessary. We are
very flexible, and never say "No" for the customers. Our motto is: "Everything can be accomplished."
Even language-specific versions can be compiled just for you!
Beside the full support of Elektroflex potentiostats, the company has produced software for UV-VIS
spectrophotometers, fully analogous potentiostats (only data collection through an AD/DA card) and PAR-273 potentiostat.
